‘36 Ford Coupe

1936 Ford "Cut Up"California's Danny Hyde has been building cars since the 1950s and his latest, "Cut Up" 1936 Ford is a home-built work of art.

Originally a 5 window coupe, it has been converted to a Roadster. Narrowed, wedge cut, with other alterations including suicide doors, laid-back cowl and grill, shortened quarter panels, full louvered belly pan and more. Engine is a 302 Cobra, Jag rearend. Interior and top by Alan Mangus, one off wheels by Alan Budnik, paint by Harley Brooks. The car was 1 of the 9 contending for "America's Most Roadster" at the 2023 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona.

Hats off to Danny at the age of 88 for building a car of this caliber. I talked with him on the phone a few times and he's such a nice man with so much passion for the hobby. I am proud to have been able to make a sign for him and this beautiful Hot Rod
